Michelle is busy preparing for the release of her second full-length album, Hospital Radio, in early June. The album builds upon the captivating textures showcased in her debut CD, Jump Roping in Chains (which has been re-mastered for an upcoming re-release). Several of the tracks on Hospital Radio feature an experienced backing band and a pair of new piano ballads also offer an engaging sonic twist. Michelle is exploring bold new lyrical territory, while continuing to amaze listeners with her rapid fire, "not big words, just a lot of words" approach. More details are coming soon!
Michelle has been gigging steadily for the past few years and is planning on touring the area extensively during the summer months in promotion of Hospital Radio. Her live show primarily consists of original material, but is often times extended with unplanned ramblings, colorful commentary, and cover songs by Gillian Welch, Bob Dylan, Pearl Jam, The Beatles, Harry Chapin, Neil Young, Counting Crows, and Stephen Stiles among others.
